| Abstract |
Smart City initiatives are currently a common place, with several projects initiating. The SusCity Project is one of such projects, on-going within the city of Lisbon, focusing on the energy efficiency of buildings. One of the objectives of the project is to create value to the city, therefore proposing new business models to be adopted. Therefore, we have identified auction services as one possible solution for energy efficiency in residential buildings. We see an opportunity to extend our previously defined PGR approach to generate a new business model supporting the use of retrofitting auction services and demonstrate it within the SusCity Project. Our main contributions reside in the extension of the PGR approach with the added heuristics definition and use of the Lean Canvas to support the generation of the intended business model. |
