Some of these fields include data mining, sensor networks, Internet of things, web of things, cloud computing techniques and machine learning. Smart city is an umbrella term that encompasses smart mobility, smart governance, smart planning, smart environment and others. Smart mobility is one of the crucial aspects of smart city addressing efficient movement of people and goods from one place to another. This work is an extensive survey of research works related to application of data mining techniques for smart mobility.
