Abstract |
Nowadays we often hear terms like Smart City or Smart Light. However, few can imagine what it actually means. A test polygon was created on the premises of the Mining Technical University in Ostrava, which gave these concepts a real meaning for promotional and scientific-research purposes. This polygon combines many sensor systems (environmental value measurement, road surface detection, wireless light communication, etc.), diagnostic applications, Internet technology visualization or light information board, light control system, luminous flux rate, light color, etc., protocols are implemented to control other associated technologies, such as charging stations, energy storage, etc. |
