Abstract |
These days, the word smart city is the one that is buzzing all around. With the development of new technologies, the vision of converting our cities into smart cities is achievable. Internet of things is the field where there is a lot of research to ensure that every person gets the privilege to have a better lifestyle and ensure that cities have a better infrastructure. The main things that we need to work upon to make our cities smart are the traffic jams and parking problems. This paper addresses the parking problems by automating the parking lots and making them easily accessible by providing the facility of booking the slot online or directly using the slot, i.e., in a conventional way. It also addresses the problem of continuously glowing the lights in underground parking even when required. |
