Abstract |
This project is using a recognition method to determine the plate number of the rear part of the car, whenever the car approaches the gate entrance. A camera is used to capture the image of the rear part of the car. For the gate to allow access to the vehicle, the plate number must be registered and kept within the database. Once verified, the admin or security guard will open the gate by pressing a button on an app to let the car pass the gate with ease without needing a special card to open the gate. The project objectives are to develop a car license plate system that detects the car plate number using a recognition detection method, to develop a parking app for parking payment fees, and lastly, to control the gate access using Bluetooth technology. The system methodology used by the developer is a rapid application development (RAD) model. In conclusion, the implementation of this project will make it a lot easier for the user to enter parking lots at the condominium. This system will decrease the hassle of the current system. |
