Abstract |
In this article, a new methodology for estimation the energy reserve of communication channels between unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the conditions of "smart cities" has been proposed. The new propagation loss models have been developed, which allow to take into account additional factors that determine the magnitude of attenuation of radio signals on the track: the carrier frequency of the transmitted signal, the range of communication between the transmitter and receiver, the height of the antenna mast of the ground control center, the flight heights of the UAV, the average roof level of specific areas of urban development, as well as such effects of multipath propagation as diffraction and reflection. On their basis, the energy reserve of the radio communication channel was estimated, and the conclusions were drawn based on the results of modeling. |
