Abstract |
We propose a digital twin configuration method for sustainable smart city. In this paper, we explain this method using a public bus operation status sharing service as an example of the smart city service. In this method, bus passengers turn bus operation status such as current bus position and congestion degree into a digital twin using their smartphones. People waiting for the bus can estimate arrival time and congestion degree in advance by accessing the digital twin in virtual space using their smartphones. The concept of this method is "one for all, all for one". This concept is important to maintain the service level of civic life especially in local cities. Because local governments or local bus operation companies do not have enough capacity to provide this kind of sharing services besides their main business. |
