| Abstract |
Smart education is considered in the article as an indispensable attribute of smart city. It is specially stressed that smart city requires new specialists which can only be trained at a new university - smart university. Considerable attention is given to the analysis of smart university features that are developing in a Russian educational environment, as well as the peculiarities of transition from e-learning to smart education. A brief statistical analysis is provided to illustrate the specific features of digital environment exploration by Russian users. But the main purpose of the article is to provide a research into students' opinion on the new educational paradigm. The results of this research are represented by processing of questionnaires distributed in the framework of the survey conducted on the basis of two universities - National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) and The Kemerovo State University. |
