| Abstract |
The reason for implementing smart technology in cities is to solve various problems, such as transport, waste management and environmental protection, security and crime prevention. The concept of smart cities controls almost every aspect of how citizens' daily lives work. The smart city is closely linked to the Internet of Things (ICT). Within the smart city, ICTs are combined with traditional infrastructure, coordinated and integrated using new digital technologies. Ensuring physical security can be considered a key area in building smart cities. Supporting the construction of smart cities makes sense. Internet of Things (IoT) technology is helping to make it more common in countries around the world. These sensors of the Internet of Things interconnect and form an extensive network capable of collecting data that can then be analyzed to gain valuable insights on how to make modern cities more habitable. The scientific article will identify the security challenges facing the development of smart cities and then list their possible solutions. |
