Abstract |
This article investigates the compatibility between circular economy (CE) and the general terms and conditions of architectural design in order to examines if the conditions support the development in CE in Denmark. It is written within the theoretical framework of tectonics that also constitute the method of this article. First the article introduces the tectonic framework. Central to tectonic theory is the relation between the perceived world and the built world. The following part of the article is an analysis of CE and the agreed document 'Ydelsesbeskrivelsen for byggeri og land 2018' (Description of services in Building and Landscape 2018). The point is to distill their central themes and identify tectonic common ground. In the final chapter of the article it is discussed if CE is compatible with the general terms and condition of architectural processes, as laid out by YBL 18. |
