| Abstract |
The circular economy emerges as an alternative model that seeks to use natural resources effi ciently to achieve sustainable development. Given its recent nature, this article sought to analyze the scientifi c evidence related to the circular economy, using the Scientifi c Electronic Library Online (SciELO) database indexed in the Web of ScienceTM. As a result, it was identified that this topic is still emerging, lacking related empirical efforts, but still with great potential for development. As a main contribution, this article provides an agenda for future research with the main limitations found in the literature. |
