Abstract |
The traditional approach of the industrial economy is based on a linear production model, in which inputs are extracted for the manufacture and sale of goods, which, after being used, are sent for disposal (ELLEN MACARTHUR FOUNDATION, 2013). In this context, the Circular Economy emerges as a new economic model, whose differential is the conception of global economic development as dissociated from the consumption of finite resources (ELLEN MACARTHUR FOUNDATION, 2013). In order to analyze the paths for the transition from linear to circular economy, an interpretation is adopted from three scales: Micro, Meso and Macro (ZENGWEI; JUN; YUICHI, 2019). This work aims to understand the scope of the Macro, Meso and Micro scales of the Circular Economy and how these three dimensions interrelate in an attempt to transition towards circularity. This research assumes an applied nature (MARCONI, LAKATOS, 2012). As for its objectives, this research reveals an exploratory view and a descriptive character (FLEURY; 2017). The analyzes constructed in this work are based on the use of the bibliographic research technique (Marconi, Lakatos; 2003), associated with the Snowball method (GOODMAN, 1961). As a result, descriptions of the three implementation layers of the Circular Economy, Micro, Mesa and Macro, are presented, as well as the way in which the levels interrelate. |
