| Abstract |
The paper has introduced the concept, characteristics, related research and engineering applications of digital substation. Combined with implementation of the electronic transformer, intelligent terminals, network communication and the IEC 61850, it has also clarified that the carrying out of the construction of digital substation at this stage is a feasible plan. And it pointed out that digital substation is an important development direction of the substation technology as a basic unit of the digital grid in the future. |
