| Abstract |
The article has two aims. First, to analyse the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on EU integration and, second, the impact on EU energy policy and climate action. The analysis relies on the theoretical framework developed by Schimmelfennig, complemented with the analytical approach developed by Falkner. The article establishes that the Covid-19 crisis and the EU's response to it may be seen as a step forward in EU integration. The EU's response has also significantly impacted the trajectory of EU energy policy and climate action by strengthening elements of the European Green Deal and its green transition. |
