| Abstract |
In the latest years, at the European Union level, a new concern has been representing the new direction for development not only for environmentalists, but also for the political and business world. As such, more and more budget is allocated by the EU itself member states, companies and even private individuals towards the protection of the environment, to speed up the process of digitalization and the creation of a green climate. The European Union presents yearly reports upon the situation of the environment and climate change and the conclusion is that there is a need of developing new partnerships and funding the transition to a new digital era. The present paper, therefore, aims at presenting the current situation of climate concerns at the level of the EU, the proposed solutions towards a digital Europe, the methods and their particularities, both from a theoretical and practical point of view and their expected short-term and long-term results. |
