Abstract |
The banking sector has a fundamental role in promoting sustainable development. Due to its performance as an intermediary, it can influence the pace and direction of this development, both by its customers and by its own business model. Measuring performance in this regard enables us to have a clearer view of strengths and weaknesses, improving the effectiveness of business decisions. Despite this relevance, there is still no consensus on what a sustainable bank is, and studies related to measurements in this sector are still incipient and incomplete. Considering this, this paper aims to identify the sustainability issues that have been evaluated in the banking sector. To do this, a systematic literature review was carried out with a content analysis of 63 papers. As a result, a broad view was obtained of the sustainability issues that were measured. |
