| Abstract |
The main aim of the paper is to provide selective information about the results of regional development research achieved in my workplace. In this direction firstly it should be noted the original models of quality of business environment and quality of social environment. These models enable to assess not only the achieved level of regional development of various hierarchical importance, but also the level of their integration considered as an important prerequisite for sustainable development (see the results of a case study of the Czech Republic). The synthesis of obtained results allowed formulation of a new working theory called the theory of integrative and sustainable regional development that respects the regularities of development differentiation of social systems in the post-industrial society. Significant attention is also paid to the illustrative example of evaluation of integration processes and sustainability and their formalization. |
