Abstract This research aims to develop arguments about the relationship between the area of People Management (PM) and the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through an integrative literature review. To this end, it follows a descriptive approach, through the selection of articles available in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library (SPELL), from the last 5 years with data collection in November 2021. After 4 surveys with the descriptors 'management' and 'responsibility' 'people' or 'human resources', resulted in 47 articles in SPELL and 21 articles in Scielo. With content analysis, arguments were woven around the integration of the categories 'Human resources and social organizations', 'Social organizations and voluntary representation', 'Ethical dilemmas about information', 'Guardians of ethics', 'Support', 'Labor, capital and quality', 'Public servants', 'Humanizing conduct of processes', 'Human resource management in the public sector', 'Internal public, socially responsible posture', 'Negotiations', 'Creativity, ideas generation function', 'Performance evaluation and participation', 'Human resources, Laws and Telework', 'Inclusive and Sustainable Pro -business', 'Lack of cross-cultural model (East and West)', 'Speeches versus practice', 'Ecosystem, diversification of local economy', 'Gender equity, generational diversity, intersectionality -social, gender and skills differences', 'Hierarchies, excessive bureaucracies', 'Knowledge economy', 'Progressive worldview'. The arguments involve the urgency in the face of the emergence of studies focusing on thinking collectively about how to respond to society's needs, calling on people to design more collaborative, resilient, and responsive organizations.
