Abstract |
The concept of sustainable leadership comprises a balanced assimilation of the economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This type of leadership must be implemented in the management of various organizations and companies, and should be based on long-term measurements. Thus, a sustainable leader must establish a direct relationship between the economy and the environment so that his entrepreneurial business will grow at the right time. The general aim of this study is to contribute to the awareness of the relevance and importance of the concept of "sustainable leadership" by describing concepts and objectives of this new leadership model as well as to identify characteristics of sustainable leadership that demonstrate its importance in today's world. With this in mind, company strategies should incorporate social and sustainable responsibility in order for corporate and human development to be possible in a fair society. |
