Abstract |
Recently, sustainable development has become one of the most popular and ambitious ideologies of society's evolution. The harmony of social, economic, and environmental initiatives in the context of organization is a very difficult process that leads to a completely different business formula of the 21st century. However, sustainable organization is not a self-phenomenon. In order to implement it, proper conditions need to be created: identification of factors that influence sustainable initiatives in the organization, establishment of a managerial system that promotes and supports those factors as well as continuous development and refinement of them. The importance of intellectual capital, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing are ascribed to the factors that are influencing the sustainable development of the organization; however, the attitude towards knowledge management as a system of management that combines all the named factors has not been formulated yet. The interrelation between knowledge management means of expression and factors of sustainable development has not been defined The aim of this article is to determine the connections between knowledge management and sustainable development in the organization and to create the model of sustainable knowledge organization. |
