In the furniture industry, the issue of protecting industrial design is particularly important. It has a huge impact not only on the reputation and increase the enterprise value, but it is mainly used to build a competitive advantage over other market. The investments and marketing activities are aimed at building the company's position and reputation on the market. Such expenditures tend to seek protection against attempts at copying and unauthorized imitation of furniture by competitors. The paper discuss the forms of intellectual property rights most often used to protect the appearance of a product in the context of selected enterprises in the furniture industry. |
