Abstract |
The complex context of current organizations requires flexibility to adapt to the changing environment and achieve the mission with a sustainable operation, which is closely associated with the management of them. The present work aims to make a precise and reflective approach to the nature and existing points of view about the management models and how they are developed or applied. Based on a brief historical account and the review of studies, the most important approaches and currents that have proved effective in management practice are identified, reviewing and explaining the main management models and their elements of applicability. Subsequently, the elements for the specific elaboration of a management model are specified to conclude that the particularities of the mission, the elements of the culture, the complexity of the environment and the state of the technology determine the configuration of the model and the necessary control devices for implement, control and evaluate it. |
