This paper highlights the main elements of a doctoral research on sustainable development in the light of supply chain optimization, conducted by authors in the Research Center of Business Administration, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. The objective of this study is to propose a model of frugal innovation to sustainable development. indeed this paper consisting of two part related to the subject of this research, the first part of the paper provides an overview of the existing literature from cost, good-enough to frugal innovation and its interaction about sustainable development, the second part of this report awakens the Jugaad approach as frugal innovation for Bottom Of the Pyramid Market, while research results proposes a model for sustainable development. This research paper is based on an extensive review of existing literature from professional associations, recognized publishers. While, keeping in mind the conclusions and recommendations made by the United Nations on sustainable development that have, among other things, recognition and promote the interdependence of the social, environmental and economic dimensions, on the other hand the insistence on the involvement of non-sustainable communities. only in the process of sustainable development but also the need for sustainable consumption and production. Hence the need to consider Bottom Of the Pyramid Market. Certainly, to achieve these goals, interdisciplinary and collaborative efforts seem indispensable. Frugal innovation can have an aspect that can bring together the efforts of interested parties to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This review has analyzed some research on the concepts of frugal innovation and its approach to sustainable development. The aim is to motivate the approach of frugal innovation that can lead to sustainable development. This research paper is based on a thorough review of the existing literature. Downstream from the analysis of the content of research carried out and in progress, we propose an analysis and propose a model of frugal innovation for a sustainable development in order to bring these two concepts closer together. Our common research stresses that frugal innovation has such a sustainable aspect. This includes the need to implement a functional model that is both innovative and sustainable. |
