Abstract |
This paper analyzes the sources of value creation for Chinese group-purchasing websites from the perspective of Value-creating Network model. After case studying of the top five Chinese group-purchasing websites, e.g. Lashou Website, Taobao Website, the author emphasize that to build a sustainable group-purchasing website for an innovative model, it should include developing core capability of the website, making constructive alliance with partners, maintaining good relationships with firms in the network. And most important of all, such innovative model should be able to create superior customer value by seamlessly integrating the business activities of network members. |
