| Abstract |
The nature's counterattack has caused several major disasters in past years. Issues of environmental protection, energy saving and carbon reduction, and sustainable development are therefore emphasised in the world. Under the thought of sustainable development, a lot of countries start to emphasise the importance of environmental protection and promote green economy to replace traditional economy which consumes natural resources and generate large pollution. Based on the spirit of 'taking from society, giving back to society', some enterprises start the greening action and execution to actively take green production, precede environmental management, and acquire certification of environmental management. Traditional business model which is regarded as increasing operation costs and reducing competitiveness enhances the competitiveness of enterprises and win good image now. Aiming at high-tech industry, the supervisors and employees in Hsinchu Science Park distributed 500 copies of questionnaire, and 383 valid copies were retrieved, with a retrieval rate of 77%. The research results conclude remarkably positive effects of: (1) environmental management on green innovation; (2) green innovation on sustainable competitive advantage, and (3) environmental management on sustainable competitive advantage. According to the results, suggestions are proposed, expecting to help high-tech firms guide the employees' thinking and behaviour, through environmental management, to further affect the execution of corporate programs. |
