Abstract |
Evaluation studies for the review of training measures often assume an impact structure according to which good teaching is composed of the positive evaluation of numerous impact indicators. Often, however, this is not based on a behavioral science model, but on a pragmatic approach. The presented approach describes a procedure of summative evaluation using the example of a course in business studies with a view to the antecedents of successful teaching. The target value is the involvement of the students, which is seen as a central motivational prerequisite for successful teaching. The basic assumption is that relevant teaching content is the basis for sustainable learning success. From the evaluation data, a behavioral model is formed by means of explorative structural equation modeling, which can serve as a control instrument on the basis of central effect parameters in order to realize an intensive involvement of the students in the subject matter. |
