Abstract |
Product-Service System (PSS) is a combination of products and services to meet specific customer needs. It is a concept that allows companies to build a competitive edge and supports sustainable development. The area of PSS design methods, as well as industrial practice, do not show examples of how this approach can be used in the printing industry. This article aims to develop a conceptual model of PSS for the printing industry. The presented example was developed during a workshop conducted in a printing company. Creating a conceptual model of PSS based on real problems, needs, and service expectations of the company, we hope to draw attention to a number of important issues. The created PSS model provides the printing house with tools in the form of services that will eliminate production problems, improve production efficiency, minimize the adverse impact of printing production on the environment and affect the extension of the machine life cycle. |
