| Abstract |
In last 3 decades there was rapid advancement in information technology (IT) has been seen. Involvement of IT in Supply Chain management changed its structure entirely. So it requires more improvement in Supply Chain of manufacturing sector. There is strong need of implementing information technology tools and sustainability aspect in Supply Chain Management of Indian Automobile companies. In order to implement sustainability and Information Technology tools in Supply Chain processes in Automobile sector it is necessary to identify enablers that affect Supply Chain processes. Enablers are basically variables that support the entire Supply Chain process and barriers are those variables that reduce performance of Supply Chain. In this research various enablers that will affect performance of Supply Chain with the help of Information Technology are identified. With the help of these enablers a structural model is prepared. Present paper shows impact of IT on Supply chain performance of Indian Automobile Industries. There is significant effect of IT on Supply Chain enhancement of Indian Automobile Industries. |
