Abstract Companies are incorporating sustainable elements into their business models to showcase a positive social and environmental impact. This has led organizations to communicate their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in an effort to gain legitimacy in response to legal requirements and international organizations. In this context, integrated reporting has become a crucial tool in meeting these requirements and enhancing the organization's value. To assess whether integrated reporting is effectively used as a marketing strategy and communication medium, several literature reviews were conducted employing the Prisma methodology and data analysis tools such as Bibliometrix. The results demonstrate the interrelationship between CSR activities and integrated reports, thereby recognizing, legitimizing, and validating the company's actions to all stakeholders.
