Abstract |
The current stage of the global economy development is characterized by an increasing degree of uncertainty of most economic and social processes. Such trends are typical for various sectors and spheres of the world and national economy, including such an important industry as heat power generation. This requires governments, regulators and business entities to take more active steps to find models and tools that provide reserves and opportunities for sustainable development of the heat power generation. The authors of this article propose a solution to the problem of ensuring the stability of heat power generation, based on the modernization of the heat supply through the use of electricity. During the theoretical and methodological justification of the author's proposals, it was demonstrated that the use of electricity for the heat supply is relevant and of interest to modern economic science and management practice. This is due to the presence of significant advantages in this type of heat supply in the context of ensuring economic efficiency and sustainability of the energy industry. To realize the existing advantages, a system of regulatory measures by the state is needed. According to the authors, they are based on the characteristics of organizational and management principles that reflect the specifics of the electric heat supply and include actions within the framework of public-private partnership and the organization of the investment process, as well as measures to support the participants of the electric heat supply system and coordination of their economic interests. The expected results of the implementation of the author's proposals will contribute to the sustainable development of heat power generation and the improvement of its regulatory framework. |
