| Abstract |
With increasing demand for decentralised and renewable generation, the evolution of new market models and accelerated technology change, network businesses face a future of growing complexity and uncertainty. The synthesis of Smart Grid and value-driven Digital Business Transformation can support network businesses in navigating the roadmap to an Intelligent Grid Operating Model to remain sustainable in this environment. However, that requires a fundamental shift in customer engagement, engineering, and asset management approaches. This paper discusses design considerations for Intelligent Grid Operating Models that can evolve with markets, technology, and customer demands. |
