Abstract |
This paper aims to highlight the important of inducing the entrepreneurial action theory into the sustainable business innovation model as an alternative to entrepreneurship theory. Although entrepreneurship scholars have exposed the limitations of this theory as supposed to entrepreneurship theory, but significant knowledge derived from individual level analysis of entrepreneurial action that allows for understanding the nature of opportunity, the potential moral action that can be reconciled between system-level in discovery and creation has highlight the noteworthy gaps in this study. The ability of entrepreneurial action theory to interpret beyond the entrepreneurship theory footprint provides effort to address the issues of discovery and creation is sustainable business innovation. The distinct but intrinsically embedded in entrepreneurship action theory of stakeholder action, ethical motivation, and competitive advantage have offer situational perspective that has been ignored by previous studies. The theory of entrepreneurial action that builds on the entrepreneurs' discovery and creation approaches are seen to reflect and engage with entrepreneurs' experience that can be measured to conceptualize their actions as they develop and establish their sustainability-innovation venture. This field of study will bridge the significant gaps in the formation of entrepreneurs' actions that offer opportunities to create a competitive niche to gain advantage in the world defined by tightening regulation, contracting resource supplies, climate change effects and shifting social pressure. Therefore, this paper will be fully reflected in Malaysia macro-economic model as the strategic re-assessment approach of innovation is the bedrock for first class mentality. |
