| Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the degree of transition to circular economy in European Union countries. The study is based on official data from Eurostat (2016). As circular economy is a complex idea, various multivariate statistical methods are used to analyze the problem: linear ordering, cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling. The results allowed for identifying the leaders and laggards of the process. However, no distinct clusters were detected. |
