Title The Regulation Of Renewable Hydrogen In The Energy Transition
Year 2022
Published
Abstract Renewable hydrogen is a key element in relation to the fulfillment of the decarbonisation objectives established at international level, and also helps to promote the circular economy and the recovery of waste. This renewable fuel undergoes a continuous process of technological innovation that cannot be ignored by the Spanish legislator. Without renewable hydrogen, the objectives of the fight against climate change cannot be achieved, and this is the main challenge for governments, industry and consumers. Thus, this paper aims to examine the current regulatory framework on renewable hydrogen, as well as we make specific improvement proposals on the different strategic lines defined in the action plans.
