| Abstract | Concepts of digital city, intelligent city, and smart city play an important role in the integration of information, industrialization, and urbanization. However, most of the larger cities in the world are facing serious problems, such as climate, environment, food safety, energy, transportation, and public safety. The economic crisis has led to a decline in urban quality with the consequence that urban management and industrial development gradually lost its way. In this context, the next generation of Internet technology acts as an extra driving force which has been brought into action in order to solve existing problems and contributed to providing a possible vision and program for the future. Smart city will not only change the way of life of residents, but also change the mode of urban development with an accent on sustainability and intelligence for the city in the future. |
